I saw you on TV…

Wouldn’t you hate to be the actor in one of those VD commercials? How do they find people to do that? And I’m sure most of those actors have agents who found the gig for them in the first place, which just kind of sucks for both parties. First, you have the agent, who is given the task of selling the gig to the actor – “Hey I heard about this upcoming commercial that I think you’d be great for!” Second, there’s the actor – after you’ve heard this guy’s pitch, you have to think about the fact that he told you how perfect you were for the VD medication commercial. That’s probably why you don’t see many of those commercials on TV.
